With over 20 years experience in the real estate industry, including a tenure as a mortgage professional, Evald brings a unique skill set to the table. Combining his knowledge of construction, financing, and marketing with his easy-going and straightforward nature has allowed him to earn his clients’ trust while expertly helping them navigate the process of buying and selling real estate.

Growing up on the family farm outside of Dugald, Manitoba, Evald learned the importance of hard work and integrity at a young age. After graduating highschool he moved to Edmonton where he worked in construction for two years before returning home to Winnipeg to open two indepent retail stores. This entrepreneurial experience provided him with a new skillset and served as a great training ground in the importance of excellent customer service.

An intimate understanding of the mortgage financing product and process was obtained during Evald’s time as a Mortgage Professional with the Bank of Nova Scotia. This knowledge affords him with a unique perspective, and allows him to provide guidance on financing-related matters to his clients.

Evald’s over 20 year tenure as a REALTOR® and new home sales agent has provided him with a wealth of knowledge on residential construction & design. This knowlege, and his understanding of the maintenance and mechanical systems of a home are a great asset to his clients, whether they are looking to buy, sell or build.

Community involvement has always been important to Evald, as is evidenced by his commitments as the former President of the Maple Grove Rugby Park, a coach, manager, and former Director of Hockey operations at East St. Paul Community Centre, and as a member of Church Council where he was involved in the establishment of a mission congregation in East St. Paul and the subsequent construction of new 10,000 square foot worship facility,

Evald has been married to his wife Kim for the past 27 years and is proud to have raised two productive and conscientous young men. He played senior men’s rugby and volleyball for many years, but now leaves the running and jumping to his sons. He enjoys golfing, hockey, and spending time with family and friends.
